Mo was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He joined the U.S. Army in 2014 where he served for 7 years with time split between Alaska and Germany. During his military career, he studied at the University of Maryland earning his degree in Business Marketing. 
After his military career, he moved to Perth, Western Australia. While living in Perth he found time to figure out how much he loves making custom rugs and spent countless hours learning the craft of tufting. The first rug he made was for his daughter's room in June of 2022. Today TuftWithIt has made over 200 rugs and is shipping custom Rugs to any corner of the world.
